Introduction

Put simply Pilates is a specific system or method of exercising the body. Pilates based exercises are designed to help the individual target specific areas of fitness in the body without over emphasizing one component over the next.

In this way Pilates exercises allow you to train and move your body in a more intelligent and efficient manner by creating a balance between, strength, flexibility, movement control, breath and alignment within the body.

Pilates with Physiotherapy

At Inspired-to-Move I use a blend of physiotherapy based techniques integrated with my movement experience to mold and shape the Pilates method to your body’s needs. I take commonly taught Pilates exercises and use them in inventive and inspired ways to challenge your mind and body at a level you have probably never experienced before.

The studio offers pilates training in private, semi-private and group class settings.  In the studio, I pride myself in using only the top of the range, world-class equipment, sourced from abroad, to ensure your movement experience is second to none.

Tailored Exercises

When first starting at the studio all new clients are required to under go a 1-hour initial assessment. During the first session a thorough assessment is conducted of the body to determine the areas which require attention. Based on those findings, I am then able to tailor the exercises to your body’s needs and your personal goals.
